Founded in 1973 by a passionate group of immigrant volunteers who wanted to contribute back to Canada, S.U.C.C.E.S.S. has evolved into one of the largest social service agencies in the country.

Today, we offer a wide range of programs and services that promote the belonging, wellness, and independence of all people on their Canadian journey.
E-Start Pre-Arrival Online Employment Program for Refugees (E-Start), is a pre-arrival pilot project of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. and funded by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

E-Start supports refugees from all over the world virtually with online learning modules. The E-Start team provides occupation-specific information for refugees to assist them in finding their first job in Canada. E-Start created the modules in consultation with IOM, ISANS, and other leading settlement-serving organizations. E-Start’s goal is to provide refugees with the employment-related resources they need before arriving in Canada.
E-Start’s program is for refugees who are granted to come to Canada and have a UCI number (Unique Client Identifier).
